The freedom to explore at your own pace...
A powerboat rental is one of the best ways to explore and enjoy our corner of paradise - island-hop, stopping off here and there for a refreshing island cocktail, lunch at one of our many island beach restaurants, snorkel or swim in the clear, azure waters of a deserted bay, anchor and swim ashore to beachcomb a pristine white sand beach, scuba dive at one of many reef/wreck sites, or just laze on deck and admire the exquisite scenery.
UBS offers powerboat rentals so you have the freedom to do whatever you want. We’ve been running scuba, snorkeling and island-hopping tours in the British Virgin Islands since 1995 so we know all there is to know about ‘Nature’s Little Secrets" and can offer you plenty of advice on where to go and what to do to guarantee the most memorable day of your vacation.
Our 35 foot Baha Cruiser is modern, regularly maintained and fully equipped for safety. It has passed the International Maritime Organization's rules for safety and seaworthiness and comes, with VHF radio, life preservers, flares, fire extinguishers, first aid kit and DAN oxygen equipment.
It is powered by twin 200HP Yamah outboard engines and can cruise at 20+ mph to transport you and up to five of your friends anywhere, quickly and comfortably.
It is also equipped with fenders, docking lines, anchor/rode and boat hook. There are two walk-through transom doors, each with its own four foot deep ladder to make entries and exits from the water extremely easy, a fully enclosed cabin with plenty of shade and changing room, a freshwater shower and a large cooler that you can fill with drinks or snacks.
You can also carry scuba tanks on board for those wishing to dive. These can be rented from us together with full sets of scuba and snorkel equipment at a special 10% discount on our normal equipment rental charges. If you let us know what you need in advance we'll have everything loaded onto your boat for you when you arrive to expedite your departure.
All powerboat rentals include a skipper who has years of experience of the waterways of the islands so you don’t have to worry about anything, including drink/driving!
Setting off from our base at Culure Ville at the east end of Tortola any time from 9:00am, you don’t have to return your boat until 5:00pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your day to the utmost. Our unique location makes it possible for us to go either into the Caribbean Sea or the Atlantic Ocean.
Our rates are very competitive – just $650 per day, including captain during peak season (November-April). Fuel is charged on top, but you start off with a full tank and we’ll refuel as we return to base so you only pay for what you use.
